Description

Forsaken Lore, an expansion for Eldritch Horror, thrusts investigators headlong into perilous and strange new encounters, while Ancient Ones defeated in the past attempt to reclaim the world. In order to stop them, investigators will need to uncover new mysteries, and dig even deeper into the lore surrounding each of the games Ancient Ones with the help of new Research cards. Meanwhile, Yigs cultists and Serpent People work to prepare the way for the Father of Serpents to dominate our planet. With the help of powerful new Spells and Assets, along with mighty new Artifacts, Investigators must once again race across the globe in order to prevent humanitys destruction in Forsaken Lore.

I can't go back to the original game

After playing this version of Dune Imperium, I can't go back to playing the original base game. This game improves the original in so many ways; the deck building feels more important and creating synergies between different cards seem more achievable.

However, if you've never played Dune Imperium before, there could be a greater learning curve for new players, as there's a few more things to keep track of and remember rules for, etc.

But if you're looking for Dune Imperium but with more oomph, this is the game for you.

Horrifying game night

Played this with a bunch of friends, and we spent most of the game thinking that one of us had been a good guy, but turned out that he had been one of the bad guys all along! By the time we had figured it out, it was too late.

The minis are also really great, I had a lot of fun painting them
